Progress at the Reading Gateway retail development is currently on target with Jones Hargreaves and Partner Stephen Tones providing a key project and development consultancy role alongside forward funding and acquisition partner Aberdeen Standard, Kier Developments and contractor Kier Construction.
Located in a prime position fronting the A33 arterial route, linking Reading Town Centre to M4 motorway, the overall scheme will deliver 110,000 sq ft of space along with 333 parking spaces. Most of the park is prelet to national multiples including Toys R Us, Wren Kitchens, Costa, Premier Inn, Beefeater and Burger King. The final two remaining units of 6,000 sq ft (which is capable of division into units as small as 1,672 sq ft) and 8,500 sq ft respectively are currently available, with strong interest.
Completion of the retail scheme is targeted for summer 2018.
